Caring for Your Soul (and Relationship) in Matters of Money®

This is a plug.

It's almost Valentine's Day. That day of the year when couples express their love for each other. Yet, even at this time of the year, I find that many people and couples are still suffering or fighting about money in some way. In fact, conflict over money is often cited as the #1 cause for divorce.

Individuals either spend more than they (or their partners) think they should. They are compelled to save money and have a hard time splurging on themselves or their families. They worry about money no matter how much they have. Or they avoid the subject of money altogether. Personally, I'm a spender. I love buying things! My husband is a saver. Can you imagine the conversations we have?

And beyond the impact money has on relationships, many people also believe that they can't really earn a living doing what they love to do. So they work at jobs and careers that aren't fulfilling and aren't feeding their soul just so they can pay their bills every month.

There are four very simple things people can do to have a more rich and satisfying life. These issues get directly addressed in the workshop, Caring for your Soul in Matters of Money®. The four things are:

  1. Identify the limiting beliefs about money they inherited as a child that are constraining them in various ways in their adult lives and in their relationships
  2. Create a new belief system that dramatically expands what they consider possible for themselves and their families in the arena of money.
  3. Take time to examine what is really important to them; identify their gifts and the contribution they were meant to make.
  4. Design and implement an action plan to integrate their gifts and their new belief so that they start living the life they love today.
