Wow! Where Have I Been?!?

Obviously not here in my blog!

However, I went back to review the goals I'd set back in February and was pleasantly surprised just how many of them had been reached. (No wonder I've been tired!) It reinforced for me the value of periodically taking stock of where you are, where you're headed and what exactly you've accpmplished. Clearly, I need to do this more often.

I know many of us rush from activity to activity without taking stock, or worse, not really being clear about where we want to go. Without having clear, written goals, we're live leaves blowing in the wind or driftwood casting about on the ocean. If we are at all engaged in life, it will always fill our days with a myriad of activities. It's up to us to chart the course to create priorities for which activities would be the most meaningful for us!

Among the list of completed goals:
  • created and published several issues of Your Performance Improvement Partnerâ„¢ newsletter
  • revamped my website with new content and e-commerce capability
  • developed products for sale
  • created alliances with several organizations greatly expanding my potential customer reach
  • published articles
  • secured great PR in my local market

All because I created a plan. I knew what I wanted. There are still a number of items on the list. Because of all the learning I've been engaged in, there are a ton more items that have to be harvested from all my hand-written notes and entered on my goal spreadsheet this week.
